Registration and reading of the book are required.
Instead of watching the movie on hard library chairs, read
the book with us and then see the movie opening night in the
theater! Book discussion will occur on a separate date, and
theater location will be announced that night. Teens are responsible
for their own transportation but a reduced ticket rate will
be provided the night of the movie.
Contact Community Library for a copy of the book.

September 19-20, 2008 at Salem
Mark your calendars for Frodo Fest, a Lord
of the Rings celebration at Community Library! This two-day
festival will include live music, crafts, face painting, trivia
contests, art contests, poetry contests, demonstrations, and
classes in how to speak Elvish. Come for our hairy foot and
pointy ear contest, and stay to taste lembas bread. This is
a family event you don't want to miss.
