NoveList is a fiction database that provides subject heading access, reviews, annotations, and much more for over 125,000 fiction titles. It also includes other content of interest to fiction readers, such as Author Read-alikes, What We’re Reading, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Annotated Book Lists. WISCAT lists the materials owned by Wisconsin libraries. Community Library users may request specific items through a program called Interlibrary Loan or (ILL). There are two ways to request an item: print out the record of the item and bring it to any Community Library branch or call any Community Library branch with your request.

Indexes and original page images mean no additional trips, inter-library loan requests or work by researchers or staff. Your library card number is required.

If you are using Internet Explorer version 7.0, you may need to go through the following steps to use this database.

  • In Internet Explorer, click on “Tools” in the menu and select “Internet Options”.
  • From "Internet Options", select the “Security” tab.
  • Click on “Trusted sites” and then click the “Sites” button.
  • In the "Add this website to the zone" dialog box, type in http://www.kenosha.lib.wi.us (you may need to uncheck “Require server verification (https) for all sites in this zone”).
  • Click add and then click close.
  • The site should now work properly.
