Spring Book Sale

Twin Lakes

Our annual spring book sale will be held on May 17-18 at the Randall/Twin Lakes facility.

The event will begin at 10 AM Saturday with a Private Sale for FOCL Members. For admission to this early bird sale bring your address label from this newsletter or renew/purchase a membership at the door.

On Saturday and Sunday, the public is welcome from noon until 4 PM. The $5 Bag of Books is Sunday from noon to 4 PM.

Gently used donations of books, records, videos, CDs, DVDs, and complete puzzles will be gratefully accepted until May 12. Readers’ Digest Condensed books, textbooks and magazines will not be accepted.

Other Important Friends Information

Book Donations
We welcome your donations of clean used books in good condition. Bring them to any of the Community Library branches at any time. We also accept records, videos, audio books, and CDs. Something new we are trying is jigsaw puzzles (please tape shut and note any missing pieces) and board games.

Please remember --- no magazines, no Reader's Digest condensed books, no textbooks, and no encyclopedias.

Grocery Receipts
The following stores are participants in the "Funds for Friends" program.

*Sentry Foods of Twin Lakes, Lake Geneva, and Burlington
(ask for a sticker on your receipt)
*Lakeside Super Valu of Salem
(no sticker necessary)
*Pick and Save
(any store, will automatically credit the library if you register the library number (2447500) on your Advantage card.)

Please patronize these stores and turn in the receipts at the counter in any of our libraries.

RTL Library Planning Committee
A committee of delegates from the Library Board, representatives from the Town of Randall and the Village of Twin Lakes, and a representative from the Friends Board has been established to begin exploring expansion of the facility in Twin Lakes.

This committee will look at all options including expanding at the current site, finding a new site, or doing nothing.

Watch the library bulletin board and website for dates when the committee will be meeting.
